Learn from two practitioners with extensive experience in safety leadership, contractor management and operational HSE performance.
Mohamed LOTFI is a senior QHSSE professional in the port and container-terminal sector, with over 18 years of operational leadership experience. His expertise includes QHSSE management, port facility security, integrated management systems, facilities management, and supply-chain performance. He has also served as Facilities Manager within container-terminal operations (TC2) at Tanger Med Port, Morocco.
Mohamed supports terminal businesses in strengthening safety, compliance, reliability, and operational efficiency—reducing risk while enabling sustainable performance. Throughout his career, he has successfully led integrated four-standard certification projects covering ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
He holds an MBA in Business Administration and a master’s degree in industrial engineering. His professional credentials include IRCA Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, a European Technical Diploma in Fire Protection and Emergency Response from CNPP and certified as a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) from SURTYMAR.
Dr Izuogu Sunday Anthony is an experienced HSE and sustainability professional with extensive leadership experience across high-risk industries, including oil and gas, offshore operations, petrochemical and fertilizer projects, marine construction and major infrastructure. He brings strong field-based expertise in contractor HSE planning, implementation and performance management.
Dr Anthony currently serves as HSE Manager with Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited. He has held key HSE leadership roles on major projects including the Lekki Deep Sea Port, NLNG Train 7 and the EGINA UFR/FPSO project, giving him substantial experience in managing HSE performance across complex contractor and subcontractor environments. In addition to his industry leadership, he is a researcher and published author in the fields of HSE and human resource management, bringing both practical and academic depth to this session.
